.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.
Elevated easterly winds and seas will likely continue through at least Monday morning. Small Craft Advisory conditions are expected for the nearshore and offshore waters. We cannot rule out Small Craft criteria being met in the southern bays. Along Gulf beaches, particularly for Highway 87 on the Bolivar Peninsula, high tide levels may result in minor coastal flooding. Winds and seas should gradually decrease by Monday into Tuesday.
